Auxtape privacy policy

What we collect

Sign in with Apple gives us a unique user ID and, if you allow it, your name and email. You give us your handle, display name, bio, photo, and social links. We store the tapes, saves, follows, Boombox messages, Community posts, and reports you create. If you connect Apple Music or Spotify, we store a token that lets us add playlists to your library; we do not see your listening history. If you set up curator payouts, Stripe collects your identity and bank details directly; Tharis never sees or stores them, only a Stripe account ID and a verified flag.

How we use it

To run the app: show your profile, sync tapes to your library, deliver Boombox messages, calculate curator earnings, prevent fraud, and send you notifications you have turned on. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.

Who we share it with

Apple (sign in and subscriptions), Stripe (curator payouts and tax forms), Supabase (our database host), Expo (push notifications), and Resend (email to our own team). Each only gets what it needs for its job. We share with law enforcement only when legally required.

Public and private

Your profile, tapes, follows, and Community posts are public. Boombox messages are private between the people in the thread. Your saved tapes are visible on your profile.

Your controls

Edit or delete your content any time. Disconnect Apple Music or Spotify in Settings. Block or report anyone. Delete your account in Settings, which removes your profile and content; we keep only the earnings and payout records the law requires us to keep, for as long as it requires.

Kids

Auxtape is not for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Security and retention

Data is stored on Supabase with encryption in transit and at rest. We keep your data while your account exists and delete it when you delete your account, except as described above.
