Auxtape terms of service

Auxtape is made by Tharis LLC ("Tharis", "we", "us"). By using Auxtape you agree to these terms.

What Auxtape is

Auxtape lets people ("curators") publish playlists ("tapes") and lets other people follow, save, and subscribe to them. Auxtape does not stream music. Tapes are saved into your own Apple Music or Spotify account through their official tools.

Your account

You sign in with Apple. You must be 13 or older. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One person, one account.

Your content

You own what you post. By posting, you give Tharis a license to show it inside Auxtape and in Auxtape’s marketing (for example, a screenshot of your public tape). You can delete your content or your account at any time. Do not post content you do not have the right to post, and do not copy another curator’s tape and present it as your own.

Voice notes are yours. Keep them clean and keep them yours.

Subscriptions

Premium ($4.99 a month) and Side B ($2.99 a month per curator) are sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase. Apple handles billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Apple ID settings. Prices may change; existing subscribers are told before any change applies to them.

Curator earnings

Curators earn a share of subscription revenue as described in the app. Payouts are made through Stripe. Curators are independent contractors, not employees of Tharis, and are responsible for their own taxes. Tharis may hold or reverse earnings that result from fraud, refunds, or violations of these terms. The minimum withdrawal, pending period, and the exact shares are shown in the app and may change with notice.

What you may not do

No harassment, hate, threats, or sexual content involving minors. No spam, fake accounts, or manipulation of saves or follows. No copying tapes. No attempts to break or reverse engineer Auxtape. We can remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Apple Music and Spotify

Connecting those services is optional and governed by their own terms. We only use the access you grant to search the catalog and add tapes or songs to your library.

Ending things

You can delete your account in Settings. We can end your access if you break these terms. Sections about your content license for already-published marketing, earnings holds, and liability survive.

Liability

Auxtape is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Tharis is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
